A very challanging track from all tees. Holes narrow for your approach shots. Good Iron play is pinnicle. Lots of water, bring extra ammo.

I have played Colonial about a dozen times and find it in wonderful conditions for such a young course. They have done a very commendable job on maintaining this course. The drainage on # 2 & #3 fairways along with #8 fairways can get soft & muddy, really no big deal.

The landing areas off the tee narrow at best. There are certain holes where we have some room to widen fairways.

The designer has also has put a premium on accurate iron play on approach shots by narrowing the fairways as you get closer to the green, that`s great!

It is one of those course that you can lose at least 2 or 3 balls around. This slows play and some times makes the experience not as enjoyable for the player.

This couse will get better with age.
